It looks as if Spain is being pushed into the spotlight now that the Greek problem has been solved by Merkel’s PSI brainwave (ha, ha! Look guys this is April Fool’s day! It’s only a joke! And no doubt The Frau knows that as well as everybody else. Why else such protestations over keeping Greece in the Eurozone and all those other ‘supportive’ declarations? I repeat. This is April Fool’s day.)

Anyway, talking of Spain, their national sport the Bull Fight comes to mind. I am not going to pass any judgement on the sport. Like Fox Hunting it goes back a very long way (far further back in time than the Fox Hunt perhaps.) I have never attended a bull fight myself, but have heard from friends who have and whose attitude was negative, that you get gripped up in a strange uncanny exhilaration despite your principles.

And this is what The Frau’s Great Austerity Program for The Final Solution is all about. It is a bull fight. The ‘Bull’ or victim is taunted and tortured and made weaker and weaker by the picadors and then the matadors till the toreador makes the final kill. The audience is gripped with horror, fascination, exhilaration. The spectacle is compelling.

But the fact remains. The whole spectacle is built not on the actually killing of the bull which is the final outcome, but on the taunting and torture and gradual weakening till the climax of the kill.

This is what The Frau is doing to the so called deviant members of Europe. First of all Greece, but the taunting and torture has already started and is at various stages for not only the GIPSI countries, but also the more ‘solid’ ones. Greece is bleeding, forefeet kneeling, snorting, knives already stuck into it and the crowd is shouting. But the crowd is also being filled with terror.

That is the whole point of the austerity plan. Otherwise, wouldn’t it be simpler, less painful, more humane to put the wretched bull down (that is slaughter it) straight off without the torture and taunting and all that? And that goes for peoples too. Why inflict so much pain and torture on a people till the final kill? Which, as is quite clear in the case of Greece, we know is getting nearer and nearer?

Well, if they did do that, where would be the fun???? Perhaps The Frau is after all more Roman than Teutonic. She seems to rather relish the spectacle of the arena. Let the lions loose on the Christians now! (Easter is coming).

All the same even the best laid plans can (and most frequently do) go wrong. And bulls are not always as compliant as they should be. See below.
