There was a joke going round that went: “Owing to the necessary budget cuts, the light at the end of the tunnel has gone out.”

This could be the epitaph of the G20 meeting. Europe under German domination has decided to act like a Kamikazi and  blow the rest of the world up with it. So this is in fact beyond an economic or even a political crisis. It is, after all, perhaps the ultimate crisis of capitalism. The equivalent of the Berlin Wall coming down? Only then people rejoiced.

Of course the rejoicing soon soured when raw free market capitalism was imposed on Russia, for instance, with all the horrendous results in mortality rates, poverty and destitution that, of course accompanies such systems.

At the moment capitalism has gone into reverse with the financial system sucking the life blood of the system, capital, out of the pockets of the consumer, out of businesses, out of governments and making it disappear down a big black hole. The sucking sound of this reverse capitalism is getting louder and louder and nastier and nastier as the black hole sucks up more than just capital, but values, human being, ethics, civilization.

Unfortunately, The Frau (who rules the EU she has hijacked) has no idea what is going wrong. All she knows is that she is right and everybody else is wrong. She is sure about that. Also, she has said, she doesn’t care if her lovely plans work (because they are not). All she cares about is that rules must be kept. Regardless. And the sucking sound gets louder and more ominous as the black hole grows larger. (It sucked common sense up long ago.)

Back at the G20, where it appears some lame attempts were made to knock some sense into the European idiots. Did they listen? Ha, ha, ha! That’s the greatest joke. Of course the didn’t! Because they know better. Like spoilt little well off children answering back the despised street urchins (whom, by the way, they expect to pay up for them.)

So the first reaction was, unsurprisingly, the petulant child reaction with finger pointing, “It’s not my fault! You started it! It’s all your fault! Not mine!” It was all the fault of America and malpractice there. Perhaps. But how does that answer the Nonsense Economics you are so stringently, stubbornly and inhumanly imposing now?

And the crowning quote of the day. Jose Manuel Barroso snapped with extreme arrogance that “Frankly we are not here to receive lessons in terms of democracy or in terms of how to handle the economy.” (sic).

No, Mr Barroso does not need lessons in Democracy. It is something of which he knows little and cares less. How else to explain the utter cheek of an unelected, unaccountable President of the Commission, who has sucked up to the strong who are responsible for appointing him while relishing his undeserved and unchecked power?

Second definition of Democracy according to Barroso and the other Unelected tyrants: What has recently happened first in the Irish referendum and then, with a vengeance in the Greek elections. Terrorize, threaten and black mail the electorate into voting what you want. In Greece the arrant meddling and terrorization of the Greek electorate went beyond anything ever witnessed before.

Smear campaigns against the young rebellious SYRIZA leader culminating in admonitions in the German Financial Times (and in Greek!) Not to vote for the “demagogue”.

As to ‘how to handle the economy’…. We would be in fits of hooting laughter with this one, if we weren’t crying right now. No Mr Barroso. You don’t need lessons in anything. Not least because you do not do anything other than preen yourself and pocket an enormous (untaxed?) salary. He has already been admonished for not setting foot in Greece once since the crisis began and all the EU policies were imposed on Greece so catastrophically.

Why should he? What does he care? He has no one to answer to. He has no fear of losing any votes. So the austerity plan didn’t work? (And isn’t working anywhere else either). So? No skin off his nose. As long as he can strut around Brussels and rub shoulders with his masters, and start preening himself in International Fora such as the G20, mouthing arrogant statements as though he represented anything or anyone at all other than The Frau.

He is right. He does not need lessons in Democracy or how to handle the economy. Democracy and the Economy are two concepts he hasn’t a clue about. And has no intention of learning anything at all about them either!

Why should he? He just helped put out the light at the end of the tunnel and had no idea that he had even done it either!
